Proteus Vietnam is proud to announce the achievement of ISO-9001 certification.  Certified by DAS, a certifying body based in the UK, the Proteus Quality Management System is recognized as being focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.  The certification proves our commitment to providing world-class quality standards for all of our products and services.  ISO 9001 is accepted worldwide as the international standard that endorses a company’s internal quality management, and confirms that its products and services satisfy customer requirements.

Proteus Vietnam has been awarded the certification specifically for the company’s engineering and product development services including electronic design, software design, and mechanical design.  Proteus specializes in the design of products for use in industrial instrumentation and control applications.  In cooperation with our US-based parent company, Proteus Industries Inc., a leading supplier of liquid flow measurement and control devices, our designs are in use worldwide by major corporations such as Applied Materials, IBM, GE Medical Systems, Fanuc Robotics, General Motors, and Nissan.

One of the most notable features observed by the DAS auditors was Proteus Vietnam’s document control system.  Proteus is one of the few companies in Vietnam operating a 100% paperless electronic document system, which in addition to being environmentally friendly (green), offers many other advantages such as providing secure access to documents for our customers located anywhere in the world, computerized automatic control of document revisions, and unprecedented protection against loss of documents due to natural disasters such as fire, earthquake and flooding.

Proteus Vietnam was established in 2005 by its current President, Mr. Mark Nicewonger, and is operated as a 100% foreign invested enterprise under license of the government of Vietnam.  Proteus is located in the heart of vibrant and bustling Hochiminh City (Saigon), the economic hub of the nation.  “We’re proud that our highly-talented design engineers are all Vietnamese Nationals and have graduated top of their class from the prestigious Hochiminh City University of Technology”, says Mr. Nicewonger.  “In my experience spanning more than three decades of involvement in high-technology, I’ve never worked with a brighter or more talented group.  We could not have gained our ISO 9001 certification or achieved our high level of customer satisfaction without their dedication.”
